Cahill keen to end career with Everton

Tim Cahill has revealed he is keen to sign a deal which will see him play out his career with Everton.

The 30-year old Australia international is believed to be on the verge of signing a four-year contract with the Toffees which would be an extension on his current deal that still has two years remaining.

Cahill admitted his love for the club and was hoping he would remain at Goodison Park for many years to come.

"The chairman and the gaffer know what I think of the club and so do the players," Cahill told the club's official website. "It is amazing!

"The chairman knows my thoughts, I will sign here for life. He knows my thoughts on what I love about this club.

"I respect everyone so much and hopefully I am here for a long time.

He added: "The likes of Tony Hibbert and Leon Osman have helped me all the way during my time at Everton. Also people like Phil Neville, he is someone I have massive respect for.

"I love this club, I have been here for six years and I have grown fonder every year.

"It is a dream come true and still to this day I enjoy going to training and I enjoy playing with these guys. We are very privileged and it is a massive honour."
