Cahill: Chelsea will go ‘all in’ for second leg with PSG

Gary Cahill says Chelsea will be given it everything in their Champions League Round of 16 second leg with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Blues were beaten 2-1 by the French giants in the first leg at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night in what was a promising performance.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick on 39 minutes before John Obi Mikel replied with a rare goal for the Londoners on the stroke of half-time but Edinson Cavani bobbed up with a late winner.

Cahill admits it was a frustrating finish to the contest but now has his sights set on the March 9 meeting at Stamford Bridge in which the 2012 European champions will be going head for leather in a bid to progress to the quarter-finals.

"Obviously we pushed for the goal tonight, we managed to get it but it was a disappointing end," Cahill said.

"A 1-1 would have been a terrific result. We defended throughout the game really well and we dug in. Obviously it will be a different game at home but nevertheless we go from the home leg.

"We know what we have to do now, we are more confident at home. It's very tough to get a result here. It's poised now, we know what we have to do so we go all in now."
