Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says they can prove their worthy champions with victories over Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Blues host Louis van Gaal's resurgent Red Devils at Stamford Bridge on Saturday before making the short trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsene Wenger's in-form side.

"They're mouth-watering games so everybody's looking forward to them," Cahill said. "We've chalked another one off at QPR and we're getting closer and closer.

"Next week we're playing against an in-form Manchester United team but we're playing at Stamford Bridge and it should be a good game."
