Cagliari midfielder Pasquale Foggia is thrilled with his call-up to the Italy squad.

"This is a dream for anyone who plays football for a living and I am very proud. I am truly happy," he told Radio Radio.

"I always tried to do everything I could to deserve the Azzurri jersey and have finally been able to make my dream come true.

"If I am in the Nazionale, then I have to thank Coach Marco Giampaolo. He gives me confidence and a sense of security. Cagliari are playing at a very high level and it is all thanks to him."
