Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has ruled out moving for Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano.

The 28-year-old Italy international has been frozen out at Marassi after falling out with Riccardo Garrone who has started proceedings to get his contract rescinded.

Cellino said: "There is no truth in it.

"I haven't moved from Cagliari this week."

Cassano's agent Beppe Bozzo also dismissed the news as "rubbish."
