Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan admits he regrets leaving Roma.
Nainggolan quit Roma for Inter Milan after a row with management before joining Cagliari on-loan this season.
“I left my heart in Rome, as that was a unique experience," said Nainggolan in his Instagram Live chat with tennis champion Fabio Fognini.
“Unfortunately, I let pride get the better of me and that made me change clubs.
"I went to Inter with a coach who really wanted me there. I arrived with so much enthusiasm, then I got injured and had some problems. Looking at the statistics, I can be satisfied, even if I can do better. It wasn't the best of Nainggolan at Inter.
“I did still hope to be given another chance, but that didn't happen. It's a decision I have to accept. I have another two years on my contract with Inter, we'll see what happens, as so much has changed at the club.
“I still believe that I can have my say at Inter. I never had any problems in the dressing room, despite what's reported."
