Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri is being linked with Delio Rossi's job at Lazio.
La Sardegna says Allegri is in the sights of Lazio president Claudio Lotito, though no firm approach has yet been made.
Rossi is off contract in June and Lazio's slide since December has his Rome future in doubt.
