Cagliari chief Francesco Marroccu has played down AC Milan's interest in goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.

Marroccu said: "I think that he has a very bright future ahead of him.

"But from here, to say that he might be the man of the market seems premature to me, it is his first year in the top league and must reconfirm his quality by just staying in Cagliari."
