Martin Caceres says he is joining the "biggest club in Spain" after seeing Barcelona secure his services from Villarreal.

The defender completed the formalities while in Uruguay and revealed: "I had telephone contact with my agent, who let me know that everything was settled.

"I'm joining the biggest team in Spain and one of the biggest in Europe."
