Yohan Cabaye is delighted with his decision to quit Lille for high-flying Newcastle United.

The midfielder has high hopes for what Newcastle can achieve this term.

The former Lille star told the Evening Chronicle: "It's been a very good start here.

"I am happy with that and I want to keep winning. It's important for everybody here we do that.

"We want to stay at the top of the Premier League and get back to winning a lot of matches. The team spirit is still very good here."
