Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno admits their sudden blip has stunned them. Real are now just four points clear of second-placed Barcelona after their 0-0 draw with Valencia.

"The truth this was not expected," confessed Butragueno.

"They have had their chances, we had ours. We may have been a little anxious. I think this is the first home game that we did not score. We must keep going, but this result isn't what we wanted."
