Birmingham City have reportedly identified Gary Rowett and Mike Phelan as possible managers of the club.
The St Andrew's outfit sacked Lee Clark on Monday after dropping to 21st position on the Championship table and are now on the hunt for a replacement.
Sky Sports suggests that Burton Albion boss Rowett, who has been at the helm at the Pirelli Stadium since 2012, has emerged as a leading candidate after spending two years with Birmingham between 1998 and 2000.
Also on the shortlist of the Brum is former Manchester United assistant Mike Phelan who spent time at Burnley, Norwich City, United and West Bromwich Albion as a player.
