Nathan Burns is set to stay with Greek Super League club AEK Athens despite reports suggesting he had departed.
The 23-year old Australian forward had reportedly joined OFI Crete last week but it has since been revealed that he has not left AEK and will see out his contract at the Olympic Stadium.
Burns joined AEK in 2008 from Adelaide United but has struggled for regular game time and was subsequently loaned to Kerkyra during the 2009/10 season.
It was believed that the seven-time capped Socceroo was all set to leave AEK but it has been confirmed that he is still an Athens player.
