Burnley veteran Duff still learning the game...at 37!

Veteran Burnley defender Michael Duff has stated that he is still learning about the game even at the ripe old age of 37.

Duff has been an integral part of the Clarets side over the last decade or so but he has experienced Premier League football in only two seasons of his long career.

Therefore, the current English top flight campaign has been a relatively new experience for Duff and the defender has revealed that despite his advancing years, he is still being educated about the game.

"I'm no different to anyone else, it's only my second year at this level so I'm learning as well, and it's a tough school," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"You learn your lessons the hard way, by getting beat.

"Hopefully we take something from it, which the gaffer (Sean Dyche) does. We dissect games, the good bits and bad bits, and its all part of the learning process, and hopefully we can put it all towards the last eight games and hopefully stay up."
