Everton have a deal in place for departing Burnley defender James Tarkowski.
The Liverpool Echo says Tarkowski's free transfer to Everton is done but isn't expected be announced until the end of the month when his contract at Burnley officially expires because of the sensitive relationship between the two clubs at present.
Off contract at the end of the month, Tarkowski underwent a medical at Everton last week.
Burnley, after their relegation was confirmed, wrote to the Premier League to question Everton's finances and whether they had adhered to financial fair play laws.
As such, Everton won't make any announcement until Tarkowski is free from the Clarets.
