Premier League new-boys Burnley are chasing Watford striker Troy Deeney.

The Daily Mail says Burnley boss Sean Dyche knows Deeney well from his spell in charge at Watford between 2002 and 2005.

The 25-year-old striker is expected to leave Vicarage Road after his 23 league goals, including one on Tuesday in their 3-1 loss to Charlton, were not enough to fire another promotion challenge.
