Burnley boss Sean Dyche is confident that Danny Ings can brush off constant speculation regarding his future at the club.
The talented 22-year old striker, who comes out of contract with the Clarets this summer, has been linked with Liverpool in recent times which created plenty of media attention during the January transfer window.
Ahead of Sunday's home meeting with West Bromwich Albion , Dyche spoke of Ings and how he expects him to look past the transfer talk and simply focus on playing consistent football for the Turf Moor outfit.
"There are more players at this club than Danny. He's a wonderful talent, I enjoy working with him," said Dyche.
"He's a fantastic lad, I like him as a person and as a footballer, he's learning, he's improving; he'll be ready to go hard and the rest of it will take care of itself.
"I've been saying it for months. I'll be saying it next week, the week after. I get it, it's a topic, but he's here to enjoy his football and that's all I ever ask of him.
"The main thing is to play with a smile and, when he's like that, he plays well and we enjoy having him."
