Burnley midfielder Steven Defour has revealed that he has been very impressed with Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne's ability to think quickly on the pitch.
De Bruyne is arguably one of the best attacking midfielders in the world at the moment and the Belgian managed to show his true class during City's 2-1 victory over Manchester United on Saturday, where he put in a stunning performance.
Burnley star Defour is among the many admirers of De Bruyne and the 28-year-old has gone on to hail his international compatriot for his ability to quickly execute what he is thinking in his head.
He told Sky Sports: "He [De Bruyne] has a way of thinking and the feet can do what his head is thinking - that is the most impressive.
"He's not really a fast player but with the way he plays he's fast.
"When he scored the goal against Manchester United, he was thinking faster than the defenders of Manchester United and that's his way of playing."
