Burnley remain confident of signing Derby County midfielder Craig Bryson.
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says their initial offer of £750,000 could be enough to land target Craig Bryson from Derby County this week, after personal terms were agreed.
The Clarets are on the brink of landing the goalscoring midfielder, but the Rams are causing a hold-up by their insistence of not allowing their prized asset to go on the cheap.
But although Derby knocked back Burnley's offer, it is understood there is nothing in Bryson's existing terms to say that a bidding club need to pay more than £750,000 for the 27-year-old.
