Joey Barton has been released from his second spell at Burnley.
The Englishman was recently banned for 18-months by the FA after being caught placing bets on football matches.
The 34-year old joins Michael Kightly as the out-of-contract players to be leaving the club so far this summer.
Burnley manager Sean Dyche commented: "Joey leaves us for the obvious reasons after he has again been a big part of what we have achieved this season
"Equally, Kights has been a great servant of the club and always a tremendous person to have around the group.
"Both players have had a big effect on what we have done during their time at Turf Moor and we wish them well, as we do all those leaving this summer."
Talks with other out-of-contract players George Boyd and former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson will continue this month.
