Burnley push on with pursuit of ex-West Brom forward Sessegnon

Burnley are continuing their push to sign Stephane Sessegnon.

Reports this week have suggested that the Clarets are eyeing the Benin international who is a free agent after leaving West Bromwich Albion in the summer.

It is understood that Sean Dyche is eager to add the versatile forward to his squad and for a transfer fee of northing, fits into the Lancashire club's low budget.

Former PSG man Sessegnon played 25 times in the Premier League with Albion last season, scoring just two goals, and was moved on after the expiration of the three-year contract he signed when joining from Sunderland for £6million in 2013.

The 32-year-old would provide good attacking depth for Dyche as he has 166 top flight English appearances to his name with both the Black Cats and Baggies.
