Burnley have made a contract offer to Inter Milan veteran Ashley Young.
The Daily Mail says Burnley have held further talks over a deal for Young.
The 35-year old is available on a free though has been offered a contract by Inter Milan where he made 34 appearances last season and won the Italian league title.
Burnley have offered a one year deal with an option for a further 12 months and manager Sean Dyche knows Young well from their time together at Watford.
Young also had interest from Watford though they are in talks over a deal for left back Danny Rose who left Tottenham this month.
