Burnley have received a boost with Belgium youth international Mehdi Lazaar being cleared to play for the FA.
The 17-year-old, whose father played for Morocco, signed a two-year scholarship deal in January but has been waiting for clearance.
He played for Ghent, Standard Liege and Royal Racing FC Montegnee in Belgium.
Manchester City offered the young striker a deal a year ago but were unable to agree a fee with Montegnee.
"The FA has given Lazaar international clearance," a Burnley spokesman told BBC Sport.
