Burnley have opened talks with Michael Duff regarding a new deal.

Reports suggest that the Clarets are set to offer the 37-year old defender a new 12-month contract after impressing in the Premier League this season.

Duff has been at Turf Moor since 2004 and the Lancashire outfit are keen for him to spend a 12th season in their colours. The Northern Ireland centre-back is due to have his Clarets testimonial in August.
