Burnley dismiss fears of relegation struggle

Burnley assistant manager Jason Tindall is relaxed over the club being drawn into a relegation battle in the npower Championship. The Clarets head into Tuesday night's clash with Birmingham one place and two points above the drop zone on the back of three consecutive defeats.

Tindall told Burnley's official website: "We don't want to start talking about relegation or anything like that. Our main objective is to concentrate on our next game, put things right and start climbing up the table."

He added: "We know we are capable of beating any team in the division - we have proved that before. We are a good side and we can't start thinking that with two or three results you become a bad side.

"You can have a bad patch and you try and come out of it as quickly as possible. That's our objective and we are confident we can do that.

"You can look how many points you are from the bottom, but you can look how many points you are from 10th place and it's not many."
