Burnley defender James Tarkowski has revealed how Mike Jackson has brought an "enjoyable and positive" atmosphere to the team.
Jackson took over as interim manager from Sean Dyche last month and the Clarets have since collected 10 points from 12, lifting them two points from the relegation zone.
"It's been enjoyable and a really positive atmosphere around the place - and we hope to continue it for the last few games," Tarkowski said at a pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Aston Villa.
"He (Jackson) has not given himself enough credit and that's the kind of person he is - he's reminded us of who we are and that we are capable of winning games.
"You can't just turn a blind eye to it (the league table) but I don't sit there and get frustrated. We can only rely on ourselves."
