Burnley continuing survival fight against all odds - Barnes

Ashley Barnes insists Burnley will continue doing everything they can to avoid relegation.

The Clarets sit at the foot of the Premier League table, eight points from safety, with thee fixtures remaining.

The fact that Sean Dyche's side has won just once in their past 15 outings suggests the odds of them surviving are not good but Barnes is maintaining a positive outlook as he and his teammates prepare for Saturday's trip to Hull City.

"As a group of players we need to step up to the mark. It's slipping out of our hands but we need to pull it back and win the next three now," Barnes said.

"We'll have to pick ourselves up for a massive game at Hull. It's going to be a massive uphill battle but it's one that we won't give up on yet.

"We'll have a good week in training and we'll give it our all."
