Sunderland have not approached relegated Burnley to speak to boss Sean Dyche. Reports have linked him with a possible move to the Stadium of Light with the Black Cats looking for a new manager after Dick Advocaat retired from management having kept the club in the Premier League last season.

The 43-year-old was being linked with a move away from Turf Moor, although he is not understood to be in talks with Sunderland at the moment.
