Following a difficult autumn Burnley have hit form in recent weeks, recording four wins in five matches and moving to within five points of the Championship play-off places. However, boss Eddie Howe would like to bolster his squad for a renewed promotion push in the new year whilst retaining his top players.
"We have sat down with the board and gone through players and targets.
"First and foremost we don't want to lose anybody - that would be a real positive for us -and then hopefully we can add a couple of players to the group we've got already." "I think there's a couple of areas we'd like to improve," said Howe.
