Burnley boss Brian Laws sees Steven Fletcher as a key to their Premiership survival hopes.
The striker has been missing since being injured on international duty with Scotland, but is available for their huge game with Wigan Athletic.
"The thing we were desperate for was to have Fletcher back and he has been training this week," said the Burnley manager.
"He's got the green light to start playing again and that is a real bonus for us as he's real quality and has got goals in him."
