Burnley boss Kompany: 2-goal Fofana's aggression made difference

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany was delighted with David Datro Fofana's double for their 2-2 draw with Fulham.

The on-loan Chelsea striker's second in injury-time earned the point on the day.

Kompany said: "I think that was a turning point for us. The performance of Fofana, Esteve, Assignon and all the other substitutes that came off the bench.

"He (Fofana) was aggressive, wanted to win every duel, he's very fast and it's a good starting point for him and we're fortunate to recruit him.

"These type of players can decide to go somewhere else and have other options but he's ready to put it all on the line for us."

Kompany added: "I must add, I have massive admiration for Jay (Rodriguez), Lyle (Foster) and Zeki (Amdouni). It's just another bit of help for us and he showed today he gives us something different.

"The three new ones, you have seen today what they can give us and hopefully they can play a key part in the next part of the season."
