Burnley boss Sean Dyche says friendship won't count against Sheffield United rival Chris Wilder tonight.
Burnley, themselves just one place above the drop zone, entertain the winless Blades on Tuesday evening with Wilder's men 11 points adrift of them at the foot of the table.
"Chris is a fella I respect a lot and I class him as a friend in football," said Dyche. "They are fighting and still have some good players, so we will be respecting them.
"But I'm not going to start throwing sympathy about. Empathy is a different thing, but he certainly won't want my sympathy.
"Our friendship will go out of the window for 90 minutes. There will only be pleasantries. I like the way he operates on and off the pitch, but I won't be wishing him well for our game against us.
"He wants to win and I want to win, so all that goes out of the window."
