Burnley boss Sean Dyche does not believe that Danny Drinkwater will be ready for their next game.

The Clarets take on Arsenal in their next Premier League test this season.

While Drinkwater will play for the under-23s this week, he is not match fit enough for consideration in the senior team yet.

The former Chelsea man is building up his fitness after making the move to Burnley late in the transfer window.

"He's fit and well, but he just needs more game-time and he will get that in the next week or so," Dyche told reporters about Drinkwater.

"We have some reserve-team football and he will definitely feature."
