Burnley boss Sean Dyche hopes their Spanish break will have them ready for the season run-in.
The Clarets flew out to Spain on Monday and spent five days in the sun as they tried to refresh weary bodies for the final eight games of the season.
"We have utilised the free time to get a few days in a warmer climate, with some really good training and relaxation," Dyche told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"We did it last year and it we had a really positive effect from it, so we're hoping for the same this year.
"We felt the players enjoyed it last year and it's just a break from the norm really.
"We've mixed and matched between having a couple of training sessions, one session, along with good relaxation."
