Burnley boss Sean Dyche are closing on a deal for Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
Dyche wants to add more strength, depth and experience to his squad.
And Premier League champion Drinkwater certainly fits the bill - despite not living up to his £30million price-tag after his 2017 move from Leicester.
Norwich and Brighton had been circling, with Drinkwater already behind N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount in Chelsea's midfield pecking order.
Dyche confirmed today he expected a deal to be done.
