Owen Coyle felt Burnley had done enough to claim a share of the spoils following the 3-2 defeat at Ewood Park, while he also questioned Blackburn's second goal. "I certainly felt we offered enough to the match to get a draw from it," Coyle told Sky Sports.
"We started the game in terrific fashion and got a terrific goal.
"We looked comfortable and I am disappointed obviously with the goals we conceded, a couple of them were naive I think."
Coyle believes Di Santo's goal should have been disallowed after Brian Jensen went to ground just before the ball went in.
The referee ruled that Jensen had been knocked over by his own player but Coyle insists there was a decisive intervention from Di Santo.
He explained: "I still think with the second goal that Di Santo nudged Stephen Jordan into Brian Jensen. It was not a powerful nudge but it was enough to knock him off balance.
"All goals are big moments and we had to push on, but as it was Blackburn got a third.
"In the second half particularly we really carried the fight and showed our quality, which resulted in numerous opportunities.
"If we had got that second goal earlier I think we could have gone on to achieve the draw."
The Clarets have lost all their league games on the road this season but Coyle was encouraged by the performance.
"There are an awful lot of positives we can take and we will pick ourselves up and get ready to go again," he added.
