Inter Milan face a battle to keep hold of Yuto Nagatomo.
The Japan international wing-back is attracting interest from Germany, where several major clubs are keen.
Sources close to Nagatomo say a January departure from Inter is unlikely, but cannot rule out a move later over the summer.
However, for their part, Inter see Nagatomo as a key player in coach Roberto Mancini's plans and do not want to sell.
Inter president Erick Thohir also has big hopes of lifting Inter's profile across Asia, with Nagatomo a big part of their planning.
