Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard hopes to play for the reserves tonight against Wigan Athletic.
The 31-year-old midfielder has not played since damaging medial knee ligaments in the Tigers' 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa in early December.
"Jimmy has been pencilled in to play and hopefully he will play a decent chunk of the game," boss Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"The weather is unpredictable at the minute so there is a slight doubt about the game going ahead.
"But we've got the Galway game on Friday and there's also the chance to play a behind-closed-doors game next week.
"That should give Jimmy time to get some minutes under his belt before the Everton game."
