Brunt urging West Brom to get something from Bolton clash

West Bromwich Albion captain Chris Brunt has urged his teammates to get a positive result from this weekend's meeting with Bolton at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies have dropped their past two matches to Liverpool and Arsenal and have also saluted just once at home this season and Brunt knows just how important it is to get some points against the visiting Trotters, especially after they defeated Stoke City 5-0 last time out.

"Bolton is a big game," said Brunt. "For all that's been said about the Arsenal game, results against clubs like that aren't going to shape our season.

"We know we need something from the Bolton game if we're to make progress this season.

"They had a great result before the international break but that won't make any difference to our game nor, I would hope, will the Arsenal game on us.

"Both teams will start with a clean slate and it's important we make the most of being at home.

"Both sides will feel they can win the game and we appreciate that there will be added pressure on us because of our last two games and because we're at The Hawthorns."
