Hull City manager Steve Bruce has taken responsibility for the team not performing at a level he would like them to.
The Tigers lost 1-0 to Burnley on Saturday which has them teetering on the brink of relegation with two matches remaining in the season.
Hull have shown glimpses in the Premier League this term but Bruce admits that the quality of football his players have produced has not been good enough to compete at this level.
"My main concern is we haven't got anywhere near the level we're capable of and I take responsibility for that," he said.
"A lot of them fell short of the level we require and we have got to try and get it back because we have still got a chance.
"Against Palace and Liverpool we found a bit of form and we've got to go and produce two huge performances and make sure we make a fist of staying in this league."
Hull have to gain positive results against Crystal Palace and Liverpool and hope Newcastle United and Sunderland are beaten in the final two fixtures of the campaign.
