Alex Bruce insists he is focusing on Hull City's relegation battle rather than worrying about a new contract.
The 30-year old defender is out of contract in the summer but is not perturbed about his future just yet as he'd rather help guide the 15th-placed Tigers to safety in the final few months of the campaign.
"I am comfortable with waiting until the club knows what is happening," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I am confident that I offer something to the team and if I get tied up I will be delighted to stay.
"Things have gone well for me at Hull. I have been reasonably pleased with my performances but I also know that I need to keep this going.
"I do feel I bring something to the team when called upon and want that to continue."
