Hull City manager Steve Bruce was full of praise for his side and believes they didn't deserve to lose 3-2 to Chelsea at the KC Stadium on Sunday.
The Tigers conceded two early goals to Eden Hazard and Diego Costa only to draw level before half-time through Ahmed Elmohamady and Abel Hernandez.
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois then kept his side in the game with a brilliant triple save in the second half before the Blues snatched victory in the 77th minute through substitute Loic Remy's which left Bruce to rue his side's bad luck as they came out of the game empty-handed.
"We never deserved to lose that," said the Hull boss.
"We can take heart from a really top class performance which was good to see. It was a terrific response, especially after going 2-0 down."
