Hull City boss Steve Bruce intends to clearout his fringe players in January.
The Mirror says Bruce will offload Paul McShane next month as he takes the axe to his Hull flops.
Bruce is shaking up his squad in response to their 10-game winless slump and has exiled McShane to train with the Under-21s.
The Tigers boss has also ended Hatem Ben Arfa's loan spell from Newcastle, admitting the move has not worked.
Bruce wants loanees Tom Ince back from Nottingham Forest and experienced campaigner Maynor Figueroa from his old club Wigan.
