Cristian Brocchi is on standby at AC Milan should coach Pippo Inzaghi be shown the door.

Inzaghi's future at Milan is again in doubt after defeat at Udinese and a players row on the team bus after the game.

Corriere dello Sport says should Inzaghi be relieved of his duties, Brocchi would step in for the remainder of the season.

Brocchi is currently coach of Milan's Primavera team.

The rookie would be assisted by one of Filippo Galli or Mauro Tassotti.
