Broadcaster secured for Chelsea's clash with Sydney

The Football Federation of Australia (FFA) has confirmed that Seven Network has acquired the national rights to broadcast Chelsea's game with Sydney FC on 2nd June, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Seven has secured live coverage of the game, which will be played at ANZ Stadium. The broadcaster will also show Sydney FC's exhibition match against Tottenham Hotspur on 30th May.

"Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in world football and they will take on a Sydney FC team that is right in the hunt to be crowned 2015 Champions," said David Gallop, the chief executive of the FFA.

"It is a great opportunity to showcase the Hyundai A-League on national free-to-air television."

Seven has previously acquired the rights to exhibition games played by Liverpool and Manchester United in Australia.
