British PM David Cameron will miss today's FA Cup final between Aston Villa and Arsenal.
Downing Street said the Prime Minister has a long-standing private commitment which will mean he cannot attend the game.
Mr Cameron's professed love for the Midlands club was called into question when he expressed support for West Ham United - who also play in claret and blue - during a general election speech in April.
Asked if Mr Cameron would be at Wembley, his official spokesman said: "The Prime Minister won't be in the crowd for the FA Cup final. He has a long-standing private engagement."
