Bristol City manager Derek McInnes may turn to loan signings in a bid to keep the club afloat in the Championship.
The Robins sit five points above the drop zone after three straight losses and McInnes knows he needs to add some depth to his struggling squad.
"I feel we need to bring one or two in and the injection those new players would give us would definitely help.
"We'll continue to work hard to bring in one or two players, because it is too important for us not to do that.
"I think we need to bring people in and I've let a few players go and sent a few more out on loan to make way for newcomers.
"I want to add a couple of players and bring a freshness to it all, because I think it will help the other players.""We cannot put what is happening down to not enjoying the rub of the green, it's a lot more than that," McInnes told the Bristol Evening Post.
