Bristol Rovers winger Elliot Anderson has won the goal of the month award for March after an incredible solo effort against Harrogate Town.
The Newcastle United loanee has drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona from Joey Barton and is already attracting attention from the Championship ahead of a potential move there next season.
Anderson scored the winner as the Gas picked up another important three points against Salford, with Barton's side hoping to nail down a play-off berth. The Newcastle loanee has a big future ahead of him and Eddie Howe said he'll cast his eye over the youngster when he returns to St. James' Park.
Speaking after picking up the award, Anderson said: “I'm very happy to win this award as I enjoyed scoring that goal. Hopefully, it won't be the last award we pick up this season!"
