Bristol hoping to land Celtic's Wilson after Leeds United move falls over

Bristol City are hoping they can secure the services of Celtic defender Mark Wilson on loan.

The 27-year old right-back was all set for a short-term move to Leeds United but that deal has fallen over with the Robins now looking to swoop.

Celtic want Wilson to regain fitness after recovering from a knee injury and have given him permission to seek a loan away from Parkhead.

Robins boss Derek McInnes is looking to bring the former Dundee United man to Ashton Gate after the potential shift to Elland Road is believed to have fallen through.
