The Sun says Bristol City want United keeper Henderson — and are ready to offer £1million.

City manager Lee Johnson has cash to spend on a new No1 and made personal checks on Hendo during his loan at Shrewsbury this season.

Henderson is keen to move away from Old Trafford and could be swayed by the offer of Championship football with the Robins.

Johnson faces competition for Henderson's signature but feels he can seal a deal after the Shrews' League One play-off final with Rotherham on May 27.
